Check that out for a funky glitch... just as I was trying to view a forum page, THAT happens... lovely.

As christmas is coming nearer, I figured I'd check some websites and shops for some funny little random presents for friends and family and while browsing Play.com I found this:

It's a grenade that is basically an alarm... one of those presents that would be funny on christmas day and then would never leave your draw again... it's supposedly really loud and is like a siren almost, but according to one customer "Well if you have ever heard a rape alarm its pretty much the same sort of thing"....OK....  since it is a guy writing the product review, I come to ask myself, how does he know what a rape alarm sounds like? Am I in the minority having never heard a rape alarm? Or does this guy have secrets... maybe I'm looking into this too much but I'm bored so what the hell...

It pretty much sums up how I feel about the whole Diablo 3 artwork situation:

Yeah people, just shut the fuck up and await the best game to grace the PC in a long time.

Well yes... you are aware it IS a tv show, right? For everyone out there that has bashed The Clone Wars in cinema remember that it is a TV show, so everyone complaining about an open ending... that's because there is another 20 episodes of the season to come! Dumbasses...

What if? What if we were all just other people's avatars in an ongoing MMO of truly epic proportions? What if this world was an odd mix between the Matrix and WoW? It's an interesting thought.... well, maybe not, but it would be funny if it turned out to be true, of course we would never know if it were true because we would essentially be lines of code operating due to the player's wants... so yeah, maybe I'm looking in to this too much. Either way, me and Creeping Death were (kind of) discussing it this morning as I came in after spending some time out in the sun, and if nothing else it should provide you with something to waste 5 minutes of your life on and maybe make you laugh somewhere along the way...

It seems the guys over at Crytek just can't stop taking digs at the PC... if I had a pound for every time I heard the word "Piracy" from the mouth of one of their devs, I probably would have made more than they did from Crysis! Recently, their business manager Herald Seeley has jumped on the bandwagon saying that the current number of Crysis players outnumbered the amount of copies sold... which means that these people are playing illegal copies. Not only that but he figures that since they are still playing the game months after release, these are people who would have bought the game if it were not available via illegal download... but who's to say these people aren't just downloading it now to try it out after all these months? Now don't get me wrong, I'm against piracy, and I don't support these people for downloading the game in the first place, but why is it always Crytek at the other end of these same old comments? Haven't they realised that people like me, who buy games, don't care, and people who don't buy their games obviousely don't care either. Afterall, they made a profit...

Before starting, read this. It's not long and won't take much time... unless your illiterate... and if that's the case you're already screwed. How'd you get this far?

Just saw this, couldn't help but post it.  This is seriously a meme from a real Yahoo Answers questions, and this is possibly the best flash meme ever.

The latest episode of Purepwnage was released 2 days ago, and having watched it i thought i'd post it up on here... because its hilarious. As usual they go about their "pro-gaming" antics, but the best part is easily the beginning where they just take the piss out of Yahtzee and his style of game-reviewing (if you can call it that). Called "Zero Coordination: on the noob effect".. you might want to watch this video just for the intro.

A video has cropped up on Youtube showing the new installation progress that the fall update for the 360 will bring and I have to say it seems so pointless. First, here's the video

HAHAHAHA! Seriously, what the hell? Look at that from the feet upwards, its all going good until you hit that face... Palest Persian I've ever seen, that's for sure.

The guys over at PAX have announced that Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel won't be at PAX this year, whilst E For All have said that he will be returning as the face of the show. I'm not entirely sure why, but this Press Release from PAX made me laugh... a lot:

Maybe It's becuase I find it hard to look up to "Pro-Gamers" as role-models, but I really don't like this guy. A recent comment he made about being a Pro-Gamer is like being a rockstar (It's not all fun yaknow, you spend a lot of time on the road.....apparantly) made me laugh too. Or, perhaps it's the fact that I resent him as he gets paid to sit around like a lazy bastard all day and play shooters, and I don't. I'm just your bog standard gamer who plays games for fun, but oh well. At the end of the day, I guess Gaming is a fair profession, if you really are good enough, but it's going to take a lot to get me to hang a “Fatal1ty” poster on my wall.

Oh, did I mention I'm starting up a new range of PC accessories with Creative? It's called the "Creative Sweedums Series - For Lazy Teenagers Who Wished They Were Great At Games!". Creative Sweedums Series will provide half-decent performance and will guarantee you nothing when it comes to getting better at the games you play.
